How to accept a Clearing offer

Here’s everything you need to know about accepting your Clearing offer.

Whether you applied through UCAS or directly to us, if you get a verbal offer we will also email you to confirm it with advice on how to accept the offer.

Remember that Clearing places are filled on a first come, first served basis. Your Clearing offer will only remain open while we have places available and can be withdrawn if the course becomes full.

Accepting a Clearing offer

  • If you applied to us directly
  • If you applied through UCAS

There is always someone who will talk to you and help make you feel at ease about your decision.

Lois Downes, Applied Psychology BSc(Hons)

If you applied to us directly

If you are holding a Clearing offer from us and you don’t have an active UCAS profile, you can accept your offer by completing a Confirmation of Clearing Acceptance form.

There's no need to create a UCAS profile – simply complete the form and we will notify UCAS on your behalf.

If you applied through UCAS

If we made you an offer through UCAS Clearing, you need to make the 91¶¶Òõ your Clearing choice on UCAS Hub before your place is confirmed.

Here's how to accept a Clearing offer on UCAS:

  1. Log on to your .
  2. Add details for the 91¶¶Òõ, UCAS code B72 and the course you have been offered a place on using the Add Clearing choice option.
  3. UCAS will then let us know that you have entered our details on Hub.
  4. Our acceptance will show in the choices section.
  5. UCAS will contact you to let you know your place is confirmed.

Remember you can only accept one offer and once you accept, your original offer will be removed.

Don’t worry if your UCAS Hub takes a while to update. At busy times and over the weekend it can take up to 48 hours for your confirmation to update on UCAS. Please call us if you have any concerns at all.
