Specialist facilities

You'll have access to modern facilities, including our clinical skills and simulation suites, clinical skills rooms, midwifery simulation ward and community flat. We've recently redeveloped the facilities on our Falmer campus.

Placements and practice learning

To ensure you can confidently apply theory to practice, you will spend around half of your studies in practice-related activities. This includes practice placements with local NHS trusts and other health and social care providers across Sussex, Surrey and Kent.

We are committed to providing a global perspective for nursing and midwifery degree course students and also offer international placements which are academically credited.

Our courses are accredited by the . You'll graduate with eligibility to apply for registration as a nurse or midwife with the NMC and be entitled to practice anywhere in the UK.

With a nursing or midwifery degree, you could work as a registered nurse or midwife.
