Specialist facilities
You'll have access to modern facilities, including our clinical skills and simulation suites, clinical skills rooms, midwifery simulation ward and community flat. We've recently redeveloped the facilities on our Falmer campus.
Placements and practice learning
To ensure you can confidently apply theory to practice, you will spend around half of your studies in practice-related activities. This includes practice placements with local NHS trusts and other health and social care providers across Sussex, Surrey and Kent.
We are committed to providing a global perspective for nursing and midwifery degree course students and also offer international placements which are academically credited.

Interprofessional learning
Just like in the real world you'll spend time with students on our other health courses. You'll share learning, knowledge and expertise benefiting from interprofessional collaboration and preparing for work in multidisciplinary healthcare teams.

Our courses are accredited by the . You'll graduate with eligibility to apply for registration as a nurse or midwife with the NMC and be entitled to practice anywhere in the UK.
