Professional Practice in Education is aimed at professional practitioners working in formal and informal education, learning, and development settings wishing to develop their academic and research skills. This course is part-time, allowing you to study for a degree while you are working.

Our specialist 
on the Falmer campus houses more than 30,000 resources, spanning all the subjects in the national curriculum. The collection includes games, DVDs, CD-ROMs, pictures, charts, education packs and an extensive collection of children’s books.

The Falmer library also houses an extensive array of literature and resources related to education studies.

After graduation

Education studies at 91¶¶Òõ significantly enhances prospects, opening doors to further study as well as professional employment. 100% of our Early Childhood Education and Care graduates go on to work or further study within 15 months after the course (Graduate Outcomes Survey).

Many of our undergraduate students choose to stay with us after graduation, securing places on our PGCE and MA course as the next step towards their career in education.
