Thesis title

The role of the prefrontal cortex in the control of dual-task gait

My research

My thesis investigated the role of the prefrontal cortex in the control of healthy adults’ dual-task gait. Using non-invasive brain stimulation techniques and behavioural manipulations, I investigated how and why the prefrontal cortex is involved in the ability of individuals to divide attention between walking and a secondary task ('walking and talking').
