Entry requirements 

Details of the academic and English language requirements for your course are on our course finder. We help many students from Turkey to improve their qualifications to meet entry requirements.


Academic equivalencies

Undergraduate

We require a Devlet Lise Diplomasi (State High School Diploma) or Lise Bitirme Diplomasi (Private High School Diploma) with minimum 70% for entry to year 1.

Please note that this is the standard academic entry requirement. Courses which have a professional accreditation may have extra requirements. We do not accept a Turkish English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements. Find out about the English qualifications that we accept.

Postgraduate

We require a Lisans Diplomasi (bachelors degree) or a Mühendis Diplomasi (engineering degree). Other Turkish undergraduate qualifications are considered comparable to British masters degree standard; 5–6 year Eczacilik Diplomasi (Pharmacist Diploma), 5–6 year Dis Hekimi Diplomasi (Dentistry Diploma), 5–6 year Veteriner Hekim Diplomasi (Veterinarian Diploma) and the 6–7 year Tip Doktoru Diplomasi.

We partner with Koç University in Istanbul to enable students to join us for an exchange programme as part of their degree.

Exchange programme lengths vary depending on the course which you are studying. You may join us for a couple of weeks, a semester, or a full academic year. Your university will be able to provide more information.
