Wellbeing Champions

Wellbeing Champions is our online training course for all 91¶¶Òõ students who want to learn more about building and maintaining their own wellbeing.

The online course includes videos, worksheets and other materials all designed to protect your mental wellbeing at the 91¶¶Òõ. You can choose to go through the whole module, or just dip into the areas that you feel can help you most. You will have the chance to reflect on your strengths and areas for development as you work through these bespoke resources.

It can be hard to know what to do if your friend is struggling with mental health problems. On the Wellbeing Champions course, you will learn strategies for supporting your friends and loved ones with their mental health and gain an understanding of the best ways to communicate with and support those around you, as well as discovering how to make best use of the wide range of free wellbeing support available through the university.

When you complete the course, there may be further opportunities to develop your wellbeing skills and support our community here at the 91¶¶Òõ. If you are interested in further opportunities, please contact s.dejesus@brighton.ac.uk.

The Wellbeing Champions programme is part funded by donations made to the university by alumni, staff and friends, including The Methodist Churches in 91¶¶Òõ & Hove.

It's easy to get overwhelmed by different thoughts or emotions, doing the course helped me look at the problem or situation from a bigger perspective and find ways in which I can improve my wellbeing.
