In most cases household income will be established by Student Finance England. Postgraduate students will be assessed by the university and therefore evidence will be required.

You should have already applied for Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) and be required to pay £200 to access your recommended specialist equipment.

How to apply

You can (Microsoft Word).

Braille or audio versions are also available (please allow two weeks from request).

You can only apply for the fund once, and you must be fully enrolled at the university before applying. Applications must be received by 12 July 2025 for the 24–25 academic year.
