LinkedIn Learning

As a 91¶¶Òõ student you have unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning – an online library of video-based training courses covering anything from study skills to programming, presenting with confidence through to how to prepare for interviews. All the videos are written and presented by industry and subject experts and can help with your academic development and your career aspirations.

Your academic tutors may also recommend LinkedIn Learning courses to support your studies and skills in using specific software.

You can access LinkedIn Learning using your university user name and password.

This website was a life saver. I have saved so much time and time is the most valuable thing to us.

Connecting to LinkedIn

You have the option to connect your university LinkedIn Learning account to a personal LinkedIn profile.

When you first sign in to LinkedIn Learning, you will be invited to 'Connect your LinkedIn account'. You do not have to connect your account, you can select ‘Continue without LinkedIn’ and then ‘Don’t Connect my account’.

If you later decide you do wish to connect your LinkedIn Learning account to your LinkedIn profile, you can do so from your personal settings in LinkedIn Learning.

You would choose to connect your account if you want to:

  • find content based on what others in your profession/field are watching and recommending
  • add course completion certificates to your personal LinkedIn profile to enhance your CV
  • use the Q+A feature within LinkedIn Learning courses.

Recommended playlists

You can explore the full library of resources and courses, but to get you started, we’ve put together two playlists to prepare you for studying at 91¶¶Òõ or refresh some essential skills, and a third playlist focusing on employment to help you to start to prepare for your future.

You'll be prompted to log in to LinkedIn Learning to view these playlists, using your university user name and password.

Deadlines, procrastination, presenting, confidence, time management, note taking, memory skills, group work and more.

Get ready for remote learning and teaching with expert tutorials on Microsoft Office 365 including: Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.

Career planning, goal-setting, CV and interview masterclasses, motivation and job-hunting and more.

Much better than searching on YouTube especially the ability to slow down and speed up videos.

Download the app

For the best experience on a mobile device, download the LinkedIn Learning app (make sure you select LinkedIn Learning and not LinkedIn). You can store videos offline so that you can watch them even when you don't have access to the internet.

The tutorials include exercise files and subtitles are available. On-screen controls mean you decide the pace of your learning.
